The Rockwell Museum
We engaged in a full re-branding for the Rockwell Museum, assessing and evaluating their goals and the perception of the community around them. The process culminated in the production of a logo and print-ready asset designs, along with the design and development of an engaging, family-friendly website to become the digital base for the museum.
Logo Design
Not Just a Name
In creating a new brand for the Rockwell Museum, we aimed to convey a smooth, modern feel without losing a sense of the museum’s cultural standing and historic importance within the community. We also needed to reflect a transformation in the museum’s collection, moving away from the notion that they only held art from the American West. The final logo carries a stylized rendition of the iconic building nested in modern typography, boldly identifying the collection to be ‘Art About America’, not just art from the West.

Simple Interface
As a fully responsive site, the Rockwell Museum’s website is well suited for use across any device. The content served to mobile devices is not specially targeted, but is laid out in a simple interface that allows users to easily consume the same content on their phones as they could access from the desktop version.

Project Details
Our digital engagement with the Rockwell Museum covered a coordinated blend of branding, web design, UX/UI, and web development. The branding exercise helped drive the communications goals for the entire organization moving forward, and the website was developed to reflect the new image of the Rockwell Museum: a savvy community staple that promotes involvement through events, classes, and the opportunity to view American art.
